I specialize in eating disorders and related issues, self-esteem issues, and anxiety.  I am here to help you rediscover balance.

Working from an eclectic approach drawing on what I have learned from my training in Psychodynamic Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness, I provide a safe environment for us to explore and work on the issues that bring you to therapy.

How Therapy Can Help You

Collaboration

Therapy is not about me telling you how to "fix" your problems.  Together we gently explore your uncomfortable feelings to help you get more in touch with yourself.

Wisdom of the Body

The body has an inner wisdom that we can tap into when we understand how to listen.  You may have past experiences that make it hard to tune into this wisdom.  Therapy can help guide you in becoming reacquainted with your inner wisdom.

Compassion

It can be challenging to have compassion for yourself when you are struggling, and yet compassion is what is needed.  Therapy can help you develop compassion for yourself by helping you get more in touch with who you are underneath your struggles and challenges.

Accepting Yourself

It can be hard to know and accept yourself in the midst of challenges in life. Accepting yourself becomes your anchor that can keep you grounded during difficult times.  Therapy can help you find this acceptance.
